TS Galaxy coach Sead Ramovic has reacted to his side’s draw against Golden Arrows in the DStv Premiership on Saturday.
Ramovic saw his side draw against the Abafana Bes’thende at Princess Magogo Stadium, dropping more points after the loss to Orlando Pirates in their previous game.
The Germany coach stated that he was happy with the point and his team’s performance.
“Well, our goal was to defend, better not to get going again, and we played well, I think with our structure and everything, it was great,” he said after the match.
“So my opinion that the opponent, they didn’t create any chances in the first half, we played well. And second, we scored the early goal. And we got straight ahead, they go against us.
“But all on all, we had also the luck that they missed a penalty, but I think in the end is a well-deserved point for us.
“One of the things you know, we show it today that we have a great squad because we had also two players who have the cart, so they were out, we have also one of the injured.
“But we show that we have a great squad that everybody can play and to the guys who did play today, a big compliment from my side.
The Germany mentor has insisted that he was happy for the away draw, and said they are ready to turn things around in the next match.
“The second half of our season, it started actually today. So, I am really happy for the point because we didn’t get any point away,” he said.
“Now we just have to be prepared, well-prepared, and we will do a better for the next game at home, and we have to be on the best because we will have to play against a really tough opponent. And we have to put everything that we have just last game to get some points there.”
The Rockets play Stellenbosch at Mbombela Stadium in their final DStv Premiership match of 2021.
