Makhaula On Facing ‘Strongest Team In The League’

AmaZulu look to draw inspiration from their previous match when they take on Mamelodi Sundowns on Monday according to captain Makhehleni Makhaula.

The skipper says they know they are facing a superb team, but they are prepared for the game, with some players coming back from injuries.

Usuthu currently sit sixth on the table after the Friday win over Marumo Gallants away and trail Sundowns by a massive 19 points despite playing one match more.

Makhaula was speaking ahead of the DStv Premiership clash between Usuthu and Masandawana scheduled to take place at King Park Stadium at 19:30.

“Our game against Marumo Gallants was really a difficult game, we had to put in some good work and some hard work because we needed the three points,” he said ahead of the match.

“It’s been a long run without wins, we have been drawing, so we had to make sure that we get the maximum points.

“We are coming up against the strongest team in the league, and it’s number one in the log, and it’s really going to be a very difficult team to play against on Monday, so we need to prepare good.

“We’ve been preparing good and some players are coming back from an injury. So yeah, everything seems to be going okay on the camp.”
