Following the fracas outside Orlando Stadium in December involving Tim Sukazi, the TS Galaxy President has commented on the guilty verdict against Orlando Pirates that was handed down by the PSL DC.
In a moment, captured on video and shared on social media, Sukazi was denied entry into the Orlando Stadium changing rooms, and physically man-handled.
Earlier in the week Pirates were found guilty by the PSL Disciplinary Committee and Sukazi welcomed the guilty verdict, but says he is interested to see what the sanction will be.
“I welcome it, I welcome it Thabiso” Sukazi said on Thabiso Mosia on MetroFM.
“I think any reasonable person, when you look at the video footage, without applying our legal mind or law, you know, you won’t look at it, in my humble opinion, and think what happened there is justifiable, and it does not bring the game into disrepute.
“I think the video evidence on its own spoke for itself, which is why personally, I was taken aback by their not guilty plea, I would have thought that they would have taken a different approach.

“But look, as lawyers, we look at these things differently, and they took the post that they to toll and look the outcome now, it is what it is, they’ve been found guilty, and I welcome it, I really do.
“Not only for Tim, but for football South Africa. Many people were peaked by what happened on the day. I think it was big embarrassment to the game.
“Be that as it may, I think the big question, and many South Africans will be interested more on the kind of sanction.
“Ja, it is one thing that they’ve been found guilty, but the sanction is really what will be very interesting.”
