Kaizer Chiefs co-coach Cedric Kaze says his players have a chance at redemption in their clash against Mamelodi Sundowns.
Following the 2-0 defeat in Bloemfontein, Chiefs have a week to return to the drawing board ahead of the massive clash against table toppers Sundowns.
Amakhosi have a chance to cause drama in the title race after their 1-1 draw against Orlando Pirates twisted things at the top for the Buccaneers.
The first round between the two sides ended in a goalless draw, and a similar result would dent Sundowns’ title hopes.
Kaze explained that a game of that magnitude against Sundowns gives players a chance to bounce back and to show that they also belong to the top.
“We still have three [sic.] games, as we said before we want to finish as high as we can and the good thing is ahead of us is our next game, a big one and we gonna do everything to react, and show the character,” Kaze told the media.
“It’s very good that it’s a big game that is coming for us to put ourselves in the right mindset.
“It’s a disappointment for everyone, I hope everyone is gonna take the next game as an opportunity to rise-up and to show that this club deserves to be on top where it belongs.”
