Bafana Bafana winger Elias Mokwana is in high-demand ahead of the upcoming transfer window, with his loan deal at Saudi Pro League side Al-Hazem set to expire at the end of next month.

The 26-year-old joined the Saudi outfit from Esperance Sportive de Tunis after just one season in North Africa where he scored seven goals with four assists in 38 games.

With Al-Hazem it’s a job completed, with the club safely in ninth position, he’s been a regular feature with 25 appearances.

Sources have confirmed to iDiski Times that enquiries have been received from the Qatar Stars League and Egyptian Premier League. While recent interest has also arrived from the United Arab Emirates and the Saudi Roshn League.

His current club, Al-Hazem, do hold an option to trigger a permanent move, but a decision has yet to be made – while the player and Esperance have will also have a major say in the next move for the 2026/27 season.

Mokwana has been capped 11 times for the South Africa national team, with two goals and two assists to his name since making his senior debut against Andorra in 2024.
