It seems as if the Premier Soccer League are dead set on getting the promotion/relegation playoffs, with the fixtures having been rescheduled, while the court cases continue.
The playoffs were suspended on Monday evening after Judge Justice Nyathi granted an interdict after Royal AM returned to court asking for a leave of appeal on the ruling Judge Sutherland had granted on Saturday, that resulted in Sekhukhune United winning the GladAfrica Championship.
But the PSL have sought leave to appeal Judge Nyathi’s decision.
Now, according to the PSL website’s match centre, there are new dates for all the playoff matches, with the first one scheduled for tomorrow. The match that was meant to be played yesterday, has been rescheduled for the 27th.
New dates:
17 June Chippa United v Richards Bay
20 June Royal AM v Chippa United
22 June Royal AM v Richards Bay
24 June Richards Bay v Chippa United
27 June Richards Bay v Royal AM
30 June Chippa United v Royal AM
