Former Sundowns Star Flourishing In Botswana

Former Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Mogakolodi Ngele is flourishing in Botswana Premier League with Township Rollers.

The Botswana international spent most of his time in South Africa playing for Platinum Stars, Bidvest Wits, Mamelodi Sundowns, Supersport United, Chippa United, Black Leopards and Tshakuma Tsha Mandzivhandila.

The 33-year-old won six titles including three league titles and the CAF Champions League with Sundowns. While he technically wasn’t at Sundowns when they won the final, he did play in one game during that year’s CAFCL campaign. That makes him the most decorated Botswana international.

Ngele has started the season in Botswana Premier League like a house on fire netting six goals in nine matches and currently is contesting for the golden boot.

The left-footed player has helped Rollers to contest for the league title as they are sitting in first place. They will face Gaborone United in their upcoming fixture.
