Ramovic Lands New Club After Galaxy Exit

Sead Ramovic is set to be appointed the new Young Africans SC head coach just a week after parting ways with TS Galaxy.

Ramovic resigned at the Rockets last week citing his desire to challenge for silverware, after an indifferent start to the new season.

iDiski Times has it on good authority that Yanga made contact with the 49-year-old on Monday upon learning about his availability as they looked to make a coaching change.

Miguel Gamondi was subsequently sacked after three consecutive defeats in all competitions, which has seen Simba SC, Singida Big Stars and Azam all firmly in a title race with the reigning champions in the Ligu Kuu Bara this season.

Ramovic agreed terms with Yanga on Friday upon arriving in Dar es Salaam as he looks set to get straight into work to prepare their opening CAF Champions League group stage fixture against Sudanese powerhouse Al Hilal on 26 November at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium.
