Bafana & Eswatini Starting XI Announced

Bafana Bafana and Eswatini have announced their starting line-ups for this evening’s COSAFA Cup encounter at Princess Magogo Stadium.

Following a massive comeback-win against Botswana three days ago, Bafana only need a draw to make it to the semi-finals of this year’s COSAFA Cup.

Meanwhile, Eswatini also gave themselves a chance of progressing after beating Namibia 2-1 on match day two. A win would see them go through, while a draw might just be enough after they currently sit level on three points with Botswana.

Head coach Morena Ramoreboli, who won this trophy with Bafana in 2021, is just three steps away from doing it again.

The crowd has been phenomenal for South Africa and without any doubt they will play a massive role in this encounter, too.

Bafana have never lost to Swaziland, winning four of their five ties, including a 1-0 at the 2021 COSAFA Cup in the group stages.

Here is how they line up:

Bafana Bafana XI: Barr, Sikhakhane, Allan, Mohamme, Lakay, Human, Mthethwa, Cele, Kapinga, Letsoalo, Rayners

Subs: Dithejane, Makume, Mogaila, Kobedi, Mabasa, Tlolane, Sebetela, May, Mini, Palace, Gumede, Mzimela.

Eswatini XI: tbc.
