New Orlando Pirates signing Siphelo Baloni has shared his first thoughts after joining the club from All Stars.
Baloni, 23, is one of the four signings that were unveiled by the Buccaneers a few weeks ago after completing his move from recently sold All Stars FC, as first reported by iDiski Times.
The highly-rated midfielder is currently with Pirates in their pre-season camp in Marbella, Spain after they started their preparations at High Performance Centre in Pretoria before moving to Rustenburg.
The new signing made his first public appearance, as he continues with pre-season in Spain ahead of 2023/24 season. ‘Smandana’ mentioned he is learning a lot from his new coach Jose Riveiro and his new teammates welcomed him very well at the club.
“So far the pre-season is so good and the team welcomed me so well with a warm hand,” Baloni told Pirates media.
“The coaches are giving us some tactics to learn more to improve as a player [and] individual and also the team to improve.
“Going forward I will improve a lot because I still need to improve as a player from All Stars. There are some of the things that I don’t know, there are some of the things that I need to tick from the coach because he showed me some of the things that I need to work on.
“So I can say that I’m glad to be here and I’m happy to be here.”
