Kaizer Chiefs head coach Nasreddine Nabi says dropping points against Cape Town City is not an issue of not having a striker’s coach.
After the goalless draw against Cape Town City on Wednesday evening at FNB Stadium, Chiefs remained in eighth place, spurning the chance to move one point off third placed Stellenbosch.
After 21 games, they have eight wins, five draws and eight defeats in the league with 22 goals scored and 24 goals conceded.
“To not score today is not an issue to bring strikers coach, it’s probably an idea we can discuss but it’s not an issue for today’s game,” he said.
“Just as simple as it is, what was missing was to put the ball inside of the net.”
The former Young Africans coach said his squad was devoid of luck and was in no position to criticise them for their overall performance on the night.
“I regret to lose two points today, we were unlucky to get three points even though we didn’t have a great first half, we had chances to score,” he explained.
“In he second half we did all we could but we couldn’t score, we were unlucky not to score over the 90 minutes.”
