Pyramids FC and Mamelodi Sundowns have announced their starting line-ups for the CAF Champions League match-day four clash at 30 June Stadium this evening.
Pyramids look to return back to winning ways after a disappointing 2-2 draw with newly promoted Baladiyet El Mahallah.
The Egyptian Premier League table toppers are in good position in the CAF Champions League to make it to the next round, should they win their two home games.
A big boast for Pyramids is the return of DR Congo striker Fiston Mayele after he couldn’t travel to South Africa to face Sundowns a week ago.
On the other side Masandawana are coming to this game on the back of a 3-0 win against Cape Town Spurs in a league match to keep their 100% starting record alive.
The DStv Premiership champions were expected to cruise in the group but things aren’t looking as easy for them at the moment after winning one, losing one to TP Mazembe and drawing 0-0 with Pyramids in Pretoria.
Sundowns are unbeaten in their last two trip to Egypt, beating Al Ahly 1-0 in 2022 before collecting a 2-2 draw against the Club of the Century in Cairo last year.
