Esperance Keen On Bafana Winger

Esperance Sportive de Tunis are among the clubs interested in Sekukhune United and Bafana Bafana winger Elias Mokwana.

The 24-year-old has enjoyed a meteoric rise over the last four seasons, rising through the amateur ranks towards the senior national team.

His pace, tricky and direct running has seen him form part of the set-up under head coach Hugo Broos and earned him praise from Kaizer Chiefs and Bafana legend Doctor Khumalo, while naturally attracting interest locally and now abroad too.

iDiski Times has been informed that Esperance have made contact with Sekhukhune in which the club has issued their asking price of the former Platinum City Rovers star.

While talks are still at an early stage, the club are said to be open to the idea of a move to North Africa instead of strengthening one of their DStv Premiership rivals next season.

Mokwana has scored six goals with seven assists in 65 games for Babina Noko since his move from the Motsepe Foundation Championship in July 2022.
