Orlando Pirates star Thembinkosi Lorch says they are going to FNB Stadium to beat Kaizer Chiefs in the Soweto Derby this weekend.
Nyoso, was speaking after securing yet another Man of the Match award, his third since returning from injury, as they secured a 1-0 win over Sekhukhune United.
It ended their four-match winless run to move them up to ninth place, two spots ahead of Chiefs, who take on Cape Town Spurs tomorrow evening at the Calabash.
“It wasn’t an easy game, you can see the legs are gone, fatigue you know, but we keep on going [and] we focus on the next one. which is Chiefs on Saturday,” Lorch told SuperSport TV after the game.
“It was very important to get maximum points, we have not been doing well. i think for games without getting a result, so it was important to get three points to give us a boost for the next game on Saturday.
“Eish, it’s another tough game, tough opponent, I think we’re off tomorrow, we need to recover and we’ll see, we have to plan for that like all other games. [We can promise] a win, we’re going there to win, every game we play, we want three points, we going there to win.”
Pirates travel to their fierce rivals on Saturday with kick off scheduled for 15h30.
