Ntseki Outlines Positives At Chiefs

Molefi Ntseki has outlined the positives he has seen since becoming the head coach of Kaizer Chiefs.

Amakhosi suffered their second defeat of the campaign and have dropped to 13th on the log with just one point from their first three DStv Premiership matches.

After the match fans expressed their unhappiness and threw objects at the coach as he walked into the tunnel. Before the unfortunate incident, Ntseki insisted that he has seen positives in his squad.

“I think the most important thing for us was to go through the squad audit,” he told SuperSport TV before the incident.

“We have brought some quality players and the mood in the camp is good. It’s just unfortunate that [we lost because] we’re expecting to get good results out of this.

“But I think in terms of the attitude in the camp it’s very good, the players are looking forward to a good season because we are having a very good mood in the camp.

“Tactically we are still working on our different formations in terms of the players coming on from the bench, those coming on from the stand but I think today it leaves us with a very huge assignment in terms of how we prepare going forward.”

Chiefs return to action on Saturday, when they will host AmaZulu in the DStv Premiership, with the latter collecting three goalless draws under Pablo Franco Martin so far.
