Obrigado, Campbell, Baartman & Witbooi Join PUMA

Four of South Africa’s brightest young stars in Emile Witbooi, Mfundo Vilakazi, Luke Bartman and Shandre Campbell have all joined the PUMA South Africa football family.

The quartet will all play in the next-gen PUMA FUTURE Ultimate 7 football boot, designed for the ultimate playmakers and difference makers including Neymar Jr., Jack Grealish, Julia Grosso, James Maddison, Laia Aleixandri, Kai Havertz, Themba Zwane and Teboho Mokoena.

Tshepo Mashishi, PUMA SA Teamhead of Teamsports Marketing, said: “We are excited to welcome these future stars to our football family and will equip them with the best technology in terms of speed, precision and control to assist these gifted playmakers on their journey to push the limits of creativity on the pitch.”

Explaining why he joined the PUMA family, Bartman said: “One of my teammates is sponsored by PUMA so I have an opportunity to learn from him and become a good brand ambassador myself.”

Witbooi commented: “I believe that PUMA have my best interest at heart. They take care of my needs while I focus on my development.”

Vilakazi added: “I play in the PUMA FUTURE Ultimate 7 football boots because they are very light, comfortable, and made for creative players like me.”

Campbell, whose ambitions for 2024 are to be a game changer by scoring more goals, and having more assists, stated: “I have partnered with PUMA because I love their commitment to players and how they are growing the sport. Secondly, they offer high-end performance and lifestyle apparel and footwear. But more importantly, the people at PUMA have been very hands on and accommodating.”
