Official: Baxter Lands New Job

Former Kaizer Chiefs coach Stuart Baxter has landed himself a new job after being announced as Technical Advisor for Helsingborgs IF.

Baxter, 69, left Chiefs towards the end of last season and has been without a job since.

He had been linked with a few vacancies such as the Simba job, while the Zambian Football Association were also after him.

However, he has now returned to Helsingborgs IF – the club he won the Swedish Cup with as coach in 2006, as an advisor.

“Stuart Baxter becomes the new technical advisor for Helsingborgs IF,” Swedish outlet DPlus Sport stated.

“With his great experience and HIF heart, he will help us on the journey towards the sporting results we want to achieve and the association we want to be,” Helsingborgs Sporting Director, Andreas Granqvist said, as per DPlus Sport.

Baxter was in charge of Helsingborg in 2006/07, when he won eight of 13 games, drawing the other five, with his side scoring an impressive 36 goals.
