Official: Sundowns Confirm Four Exits

Mamelodi Sundowns have confirmed Gaston Sirino among four exits ahead of the new season.

Sirino who had fallen out of favour at the club after attempting to pursue a move to Al Ahly two seasons ago, has been released from his contract.

He joins Bongani Zungu, who confirmed his exit last month, along with Kenya international defender Brian Onyango and Thabiso Kutumela.

The latter spent last season on loan at Cape Town City and has been released with regular minutes unlikely should he have remained at Chloorkop.

It signals part of the clearout at the club, as they look to streamline before adding new additions to the first-team squad.

Argentine Junior Mendieta also looks set to leave in the current window and is reportedly on the move to Greece.
