Lamontville Golden Arrows announced that Vusumzi Vilakazi and Mabhuti Khenyeza will lead the team as co-coaches in the 2022/23 DStv Premiership campaign.
The duo was appointed as interim coaches after the departure of Lehlohonolo Seema in March following a 6-0 drubbing against Mamelodi Sundowns.

The two South African coaches took charge of the last six Arrows games which saw them only losing one game against Baroka FC and winning two that includes the KZN derby against AmaZulu FC and Kaizer Chiefs.
As previously reported in Edition 55 of iDiski Times, Arrows were pleased with the work of the duo and would be handing them the reigns at the end of the season.
The unfortunate part is that Abafana Bes’thende couldn’t finish inside the top eight, they fell short on goal difference as they conceded more goals than SuperSport United. Vilakazi and Khenyeza will look to bring the hopes of KZN people with a promising start to the season.
Vilakazi was in charge of the Arrows reserve team for most of his career which produced several first-team players in recent years, and Khenyeza was the assistant coach under Seema.
