Golden Arrows have released an official statement creating confusion around co-head coach Mabhuti Khenyeza.
This publication broke the news last week that Khenyeza had informed Arrows of his intention to leave the club citing unhappiness in his current role.
He officially tendered his resignation this week but the club has now come out to state that he’s been absent from training.
“Lamontville Folden Arrows Football Club would like to state that Mr Mabhuti Khenyeza has been absent from work for a week,” the statement read.
“Musa Bilankulu and Kagisho Dikgacoi are in charge of the team. The Club will not comment any further on this matter.”
Arrows are currently sixth in the league with after four wins, one draw and three defeats.
