Kaizer Chiefs are closing in on the signing of Chippa United striker Bienvenu Eva Nga ahead of the 2022/23 campaign.
Eva Nga, 29, has been one of the standout players in the DStv Premiership with 10 goals in 23 games, only outscored by Victor Letsoalo (14) and Peter Shalulile (21).
Having notably been rebuffed by Royal AM in their pursuit for Letsoalo, Chiefs identified the Cameroonian target-man to bolster their attacking options with Samir Nurkovic’s contract set to expire in July.
iDiski Times has learnt that Chippa United owner Chippa Mpengesi was at Naturena Village earlier this month to negotiate the transfer, with a deal now said to be agreed in principle.
Eva Nga is no stranger to South African football, having first arrived with the now-defunct Bidvest Wits in January 2020 after stints in Portugal, Mozambique, Mali and Gabon.
