Latest Update On Pitso

After reports all over Arabic media stated that Pitso Mosimane had to be admitted to hospital, iDiski Times has now learnt that the South African tactician is doing “good” and some of the reports may have been “exaggerated”.

On Thursday, Al Bayan Emirates Journal and various Arabic media had reported that Mosimane suffered from shortness of breath and became ill earlier in the week.

It led to the Al Wahda FC coach being admitted to the Abu Dhabi hospital for treatment, with South African assistant Maahier Davids taking over the training, and left many worried about the situation.

Meanwhile, his club have not put up any official statement about the status of the coach. This publication attempted to get an update from his wife and agent, Moira Tlhagale but without success.

However, after reaching out to the club, iDiski Times heard that Mosimane is fine and his situation is nothing serious. Another source added that “coach is good” and the articles “exaggerated” the situation.

Al Wahda will face Ajman in the seventh match of the United Arab Pro League on Saturday, and Mosimane is expected be fit to take charge of the game.

They are currently sitting in sixth place with nine points after six matches and there were reports that Mosimane could potentially be on his way out after suffering four defeats in his first nine official matches at the club, while he has also been linked with Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs.
