Ngezana Reveals Where He Wants To Play In Future

FCSB defender Siyabonga Ngezana has described leaving his family in South Africa to fulfil his European dream as a “tough time at first”.

Ngezana faced a lot of criticism before settling in Romania as he was labelled as not good enough for the league both by local and Romanian media.

The 27-year-old took time to settle, and when he did, he hit the ground running as he had a good first season with the Romanian giants winning the Superliga, and Super Cup and qualifying for the Europa League.

During the night of the Fanatik Gala dinner awards, Ngezana was named Defender of the Year and Best Foreign Player. In his statement, he highlighted that it’s not over he still wants to see himself playing in England, France, Spain, and Germany.

“I made sacrifices to become the best,” said Ngezana according to DigiSport.

“Leaving my family at home was not an easy decision to make. I went through a tough time at first.

“It’s a big achievement for me just to come here and play in Europe and win something. It means a lot, but I can’t say it’s enough.

“I still have dreams to achieve. I want to play in Germany, France, England, and Spain,” the former Amakhosi product added.
