Orlando Pirates midfielder Ndabayithethwa Ndlondlo and Mamelodi Sundowns versatile winger Lebohang Maboe will both miss the upcoming DStv Premiership clash on Wednesday.
Ndlondlo will miss the game against Sundowns on Wednesday evening after receiving four yellow cards, which led to his suspension.
The former Tshakuma Tsha Mandzivhandila midfielder started the season on high note, laying off two assists in the DStv Premiership clash against Royal AM before he scored his first goal of the campaign against Sekhukhune United.
But the midfield maestro received his first yellow card against Royal AM, he quickly got another one against Babina Noko in MTN8 quarter-final clash. He received his third one in the 1-1 draw with Chippa United before getting the fourth against Stellenbosch FC in the MTN8 semi-final first leg.
Meanwhile, Maboe, who hasn’t had much game-time this season, was introduced as substitute in Sundowns 1-0 victory over Richards Bay.
But, as he was working his way into the team, he received straight red card against Polokwane City after only spending five minutes on the field of play.
The 29-year old made a reckless tackle, which left the referee little to no choice but to send him off. The red card meant that he will have to restart again in fighting for his way back into the team.
The other player suspended for the midweek clashes in the DStv Premiership is Stellenbosch FC’s Thabo Moloisane after he was sent off in the MTN8 semi-final first leg against the Buccaneers.
