“I am excited to be a part of this wonderful initiative as it is important for us as coaches to share this information. I shared some interesting topics about the game such as characteristics of the modern coach, how they should behave on and off the field and how this contributes to the success of the teams that they coach” said Senong.
“We also delved deep into the phases of the game in relation to the modern demands and trends while also stressing the importance of respecting the training methodologies and connecting them with how you want your game, which is crucial for the modern-day coach.”
The eight-day course, which sees 30 aspiring coaches from various Local Football Associations under the SAFA Nelson Mandela Bay concludes this afternoon at the Gelvandale Sports Complex.
