The DStv Premiership fixtures for the 2022/23 season have been leaked, with the new campaign starting with a Soweto Derby.
The new season kicks off on the first weekend of August, as already confirmed by the Premier Soccer League. On Wednesday, the 2022/23 fixtures were sent to all member clubs, who were asked for their input over their respective home venues – the document was seen by iDiski Times.
The 2022/23 DStv Premiership will start on Friday, 5 August with a much-expected curtain raiser between defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns and runners-up Cape Town City.
The action continues on Saturday, when third-placed Royal Am welcome Kaizer Chiefs, while Orlando Pirates will face Swallows FC in the original Soweto Derby.
Fans can also look forward to their first KZN derby of the new campaign, with Golden Arrows hosting newly-promoted Richards Bay in the early Saturday kick off.
