Ramovic Opens Up On Teto Move Abroad

TS Galaxy head coach Sead Ramovic has reacted to Aphelele Teto’s move to Scottish Premier League side Livingston.

The Bosnian mentor handed the diminutive midfielder his professional debut in the DStv Premiership and he was rewarded with several dynamic displays.

But their highly publicised fallout in the 2022/23 season, saw him banish Teto back to the DStv Diski Challenge squad during a turbulent period of inconsistent results in the first team.

In what was cited as a move to make Teto work harder to get back to the form that first earned him a promotion from the DDC squad, it was his exploits in their mid-season trip that actually caught the eye of Livingston and Ramovic has wished him well for the future.

“I am very happy to see Aphelele go to Europe. When I first saw him play I straightaway told our Chairman that he has something special that is not there in Europe,” he said about the move to the SPL side.

“It is of course the result of the hard work on him, by our entire technical team and his ability to take instruction.

“We should also thank our Chairman for taking our Club to Europe even when many tried to criticise us for going to Europe.

“When Livingston people reached out to me to say they would like to have Teto it was not a surprise because he really played well in Turkey.

“I also know what he is capable of and my advice to him will be that it is not going to be easy but he must keep on working hard and everything else will happen for itself.”

Teto featured 19 times for the Rockets’ first team and registered two assists since making his professional debut in February 2022.
