Chiefs Pair Safely In Tokyo
The South African under-23 team have received a boost with Kaizer Chiefs players Nkosingiphile Ngcobo and Reeve Frosler having linked up with the team.
The pair had played in last Saturday’s CAF Champions League final loss to Al Ahly, so didn’t travel with the Olympic team to Tokyo initially.
Ngcobo and Frosler flew out of Casablanca to Japan though, to unite with the team, and SAFA have now confirmed they have joined up with David Notoane’s squad.
““We have had a very long trip and are still a bit disappointed at the weekend’s results, however as professionals we are now settled in Tokyo and will be 100 percent ready to play if we are selected in the opening match,” Frosler told SAFA media.
