10 Players Who Could Still Move After Window Closed

Despite the PSL transfer window shutting last night, here are several big-name players who could still join clubs in South Africa.

It was a quiet deadline day in the Premier Soccer League, with only a few departures and loan deals being confirmed.

However, clubs cannot now sign any new players who are currently under contract at another club until January, at least.

Free agents, though, could still find a new home and there are several big-name players who remain available.

Thabo Cele, who was with South Africa’s U23 side at the Tokyo Olympics is a free agent after his contract with Cova Piedade came to an end.

He was at a Polish top flight club last week but that move has reportedly not materialised, with Maritzburg United and Chiefs understood to be keen on his services.

But Cele is not the only interesting free agent, as former Chiefs and Bafana winger Siphiwe Tshabalala is also available following his departure from AmaZulu.

Shabba, who turns 37 in September, only made two DStv Premiership appearances for Usuthu and is yet to comment following his exit.

Justin Shonga, was on trial at AmaZulu but Benni McCarthy decided against signings him and you can see more free agents below:
