Former Moroka Swallows star, Lerato Chabangu, would be open to a return to the club, which has been brought back to the top-flight.
Chabangu recently had an interview with iDiski Times’ Nkululeko Nkewu, where he spoke about his current situation, which club he is playing for and whether or not retirement was on the cards.
At one point in the interview, they spoke about his former club, and Chabangu admitted that he would love to make a return to the Dube Birds.
“I would really be happy to be back my brother. I had a great time under Gordon Igesund where we almost won the league with the club and won the MTN8,” he told iDiski Times.
“I would not mind playing for Swallows FC, I would love to join them but I also think I have a lot to offer when it comes to helping them with the younger players.
“I would speak to the young players, guide them and share with them my experience as a former player.” If you are unable to get yourself a print copy of the iDiski Times’ first edition, you can grab yourself a digital copy here:
