Chiefs Explain Absence Of 4 Players
Kaizer Chiefs have explained why the likes of Itumeleng Khune, Khama Billiat, Lebohang Lesako and Dumisani Zuma are missing from today’s match day squad.
The Glamour Boys will be led by Arthur Zwane in their game against Golden Arrows today after Gavin Hunt was sacked last Friday.
Zwane has made five changes to the starting line-up, recalling Reeve Frosler, Willard Katsande, Kearyn Baccus, Lebogang Manyama and Samir Nurkovic to the XI.
However, there were still some notable absentees and Chiefs’ social accounts gave an update on the missing players.
Zuma is still missing after picking up a serious knee injury in the CAF Champions League first leg against Simba.
In addition, Khama Billiat is still continuing his rehabilitation following a leg fracture, while Khune is nurturing a hamstring issue and Lesako sidelined with a knee injury.
Siyabonga Ngezana is suspended but will return to the squad for the final game of the season against TS Galaxy.
