Kaizer Chiefs will face Cameroonian opponents in the preliminary round of their CAF Champions League campaign.
Amakhosi qualified for Africa’s major club competition when they finished runners up to Mamelodi Sundowns in the league last season.
In a draw that was held virtually by CAF, Chiefs were drawn against Cameroonian club PWD Bamenda. Bamenda won their domestic league last season after the season was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Meanwhile, Sundowns and Orlando Pirates have been given a bye and will not play in the preliminary rounds of the Champions League and Confederations Cup respectively, due to their historic performances on the continent.
Confed Cup newbies and Nedbank Cup runners-up Bloemfontein Celtic will face AS Maniema from DRC.
