Orlando Pirates co-coach Fadlu Davids has insisted their 11-match winning streak against Chippa United will not have an impact on today’s clash.
The Buccaneers have won their last 11 successive matches against Saturday’s opponents and will be keen to extend their run.
Davids, though, insisted that previous results do not play a role in their preparations.
“When preparing for a match like this, we don’t look at previous results,” he told the club’s website.
“That has no impact in terms of the result we’re trying to get today. So our focus is on their current team and how we get the three points.”
Davids has also given some insights how his side want to overcome Gavin Hunt’s defensively compact side.
“Chippa keep very compact defensively,” he added.
“They are really good at that, and we have to look at ourselves and be more fluid in trying to create chances and scoring goals.”
