Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Haashim Domingo has praised his in-form teammate Neo Maema after his good recent performances.
Maema joined the Tshwane giants in July this year from Bloemfontein Celtic and has now becoming a regular in the Masandawana squad.
The left-footed midfielder has scored four goals, and assisted five times in all competitions since he joined the club this season so far.
“He is doing well and has been doing well, I think all of us just have to be consistent now, and he just has to keep his head on his shoulders,” Domingo told club’s media department.
“When you play at a club like Sundowns, you cannot be asked to work hard, it’s just something that you have to do. As a professional, that’s what we do and that’s what we are always going to do.”
While praising Maema, Domingo is also confident that he will score goals to help the team to keep consistency.
“I am very hungry to score, that’s one thing right now I think that is lacking in my game right now, but I will keep on trying until it comes.”
Masandawana will travel to Cape Town on Saturday to battle with Stellenbosch FC at Danie Craven Stadium on Saturday.
