Mamelodi Sundowns could reach their first MTN8 Cup final since 2016 but will need to beat Golden Arrows in their semi-final second leg.
No team has an advantage between both sides going into the second leg of their MTN 8 semi-final, with both keen to complete the job at the Lucas Moripe Stadium at 18:00 on Tuesday.
Part of the task was done equally in the first leg, where the teams drew 1-1 at Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium towards end of the last month.
Nonetheless, Masandawana enter the game with a great run in 2021/22 so far, playing five games in the DStv Premiership without any defeat, while Abafana Bes’thende drew their last three league games.
In the last five meetings between the two teams, Arrows didn’t beat Sundowns, having drawn three of those games, with Downs winning the other two.
Here is how they line up:
Sundowns XI: Pieterse, Lunga, Lakay, de Reuck, Kekana, Jali, Zwane, Domingo, Kutumela, Safranko, Shalulile
Arrows: Mlungwana, Sibisi, Zuke, Mantshiyane, M.Dube, Dlamini, Ndwandwe, Mmodi, Sibiya, Mutizwa, Gumede
