SAFA have announced the players that will be called into the Bafana Bafana squad following the news that a number of players were out.
On Sunday, it was announced that Thibang Phete, Thulani Serero, Andile Jali, Reeve Frosler, Thami Mkhize and Abubakar Mobara were all out of the team.
However, providing an update on Bafana’s official Twitter account, they said: “Musa Lebusa, Vincent Pule, Thapelo Morena, Tshepo Rikhotso and Thabo Nodada have been drafted into the Bafana Bafana squad to play Sao Tome.”
Their first of back-to-back AFCON qualifiers against Sao Tome takes place on Friday at 21:00, live on SABC.
