Maritzburg United defender Dan Morgan says the Team of Choice will focus on their own game as they take on Cape Town City in the DStv Premiership today.
The two teams meet at the Cape Town Stadium at 5pm.
Despite a few good results recently, Maritzburg are still part of the battle of the bottom of the table, and are currently 13th, three points ahead of Chippa United, who are in the 15th promotion/relegation playoff spot.
City are currently seventh, and four points ahead of Baroka in eighth, while also four points behind sixth-placed SuperSport United.
Morgan says the game is very important, and while City are a very good team, they will be concentrating on their own game, as they look for the three points that could ensure their safety this season.
“It’s a super important game. The good thing for us is it’s in our hands, we don’t have to rely on anyone else,” Morgan told the club’s website.
“They are a very good team, obviously they like to play. They have a lot of athletic ability like we do as well.”
“There’s only so much you can concentrate on them, it’s about concentrating on us and doing what we do best and getting the three points and moving on from there.”
