PSL Announce 6 Suspensions For The Weekend
The PSL have confirmed six players will miss the upcoming weekend and mid-week matches of the DStv Premiership.
AmaZulu FC defender Tercious Malepe picked two yellow cards in their goalless draw with SuperSport, which resulted to a red card on Tuesday.
Malepe, though, will not miss his side’s CAF Champions League second leg against Nyasa Big Bullets of Malawi in an away match this coming Saturday.
Baroka FC will miss Thamsanqa Masiya against Sekhukhune after he was sent off against Maritzburg, while Golden Arrows will be without midfielder Nothani Ndwandwe for their clash against AmaZulu on Wednesday next week, as he picked his fourth yellow card during the game against TS Galaxy.
Bafana Bafana and Maritzburg United star Bongokuhle Hlongwane, meanwhile, will be on the sidelines his side’s home game Marumo Gallants after receiving two yellows against Maritzburg.
SuperSport United center-back Luke Fleurs will also not be in action when they battle Swallows FC this coming Sunday following his sending off against AmaZulu, while TS Galaxy will be without Steven Sanoka when they visit the log leaders Mamelodi Sundowns, as he still serves his suspension from his red card against Stellenbosch.
