Hunt On His Time At Chiefs
Gavin Hunt says he doesn’t want to talk too much about his stint at Kaizer Chiefs but he learnt a lot during his time at Amakhosi.
The Chippa United coach spoke to iDiski Times senior writer Velile Mnyandu about a host of topics in an exclusive interview this week.
Among the the topics discussed, Hunt was also asked about his time with the Glamour but didn’t really want to give much away at first.
“Yeah I don’t want to say too much there (laughs),” he said.
“One day it will be… but I don’t want to say too much (laughs).
When asked whether his stint at Naturena is a chapter he doesn’t want to look back on Hunt insisted it was a “great experience” to guide the club into the semi-final of the CAF Champions League.
“I say you learn, in football you never stop learning so there’s no problem.
“It was a great experience and to get to the semi-final when I left, I think it’s a great experience and it’s a great club and I wish them well.”
Hunt was fired by Amakhosi with two league games left to be played and ahead of the club’s CAF Champions League semi-final against Wydad Casablanca.
He has since taken on a new role at Chippa United, collecting four points from his first three games.
In his interview, Hunt also opens up on the “toughest job of his life” and you can read the full interview in this week’s edition of iDiski Times.
