Thabo Rakhale is excited to have joined Sekhukhune United and is ready to help the newly promoted DStv Premiership keep their status.
Rakhale joins after a season at Tshakhuma (now Marumo Gallants), and the former Orlando Pirates and Chippa United player did just that at TTM, as he played a big role in the rookie club remain in the top flight, and also win the Nedbank Cup.
Rakhale says Sekhukhune has a lot of energy, and he is familiar with a few of the players.
“I’m excited to be part of the family,” Rakhale told the club’s media department.
“Considering the fact that the team has a lot of energy, the players here, I know some of them. They were playing under me, or I’d say I was their senior, so now I’m privileged to be going to be their teammate and the technical team. And the good thing is that everyone has welcomed me here in a good way.
“The fact that the team has just got promoted, the first thing that me as a senior player is to make sure that the team stays in the elite league.
“So I’m going to contribute give my best, 100% in every way that I can, so that it can it can keep the status in the PSL.”
