Mamelodi Sundowns co-head coach Rulani Mokwena sent a message to a coach, who’ve just got himself a new PSL gig.
Mokwena is currently on break after winning the 2020/21 DStv Premiership title with Masandawana.
He became the youngest coach to do so and now sent a message to one of his former mentors, Alan Freese.
The 64-year-old was announced as new Richards Bay coach this week, tasked with leading them into the PSL relegation/promotion playoffs, which are overshadowed by the ongoing court cases.
However, Mokwena wished Freese, whom he worked with in the beginning of his coaching career at the now defunct Platinum Stars all the best ahead of his new coaching gig.
“Congratulations on your appointment. Wishing you all the best,” he wrote on social media.
Freese and Richards Bay were scheduled to face Royal AM in the first relegation/promotion playoff game on Tuesday, but the playoffs were suspended following a ruling by judge Justice Nyathi on Monday.
