Mamelodi Sundowns striker Peter Shalulile has been named the PSL Footballer of the Season following a brilliant campaign with Masandawana.
The 27-year-old only joined Downs from Highlands Park ahead of the campaign but has outdone all expectations at Chloorkop.
He has scored 22 goals and assisted another eight in 39 appearances for Downs this season, contributing to 30 goals in 2020/21.
Fifteen of his strikes have come in the DStv Premiership where Shalulile helped his side to win fourth successive league title.
As a consequence, it doesn’t surprise that the Namibian forward was named PSL Footballer of the Season, beating Themba Zwane and Thabiso Kutumela.
