SSU Coach Makes Strong Mbule & Mokoena Statement
SuperSport United head coach Kaitano Tembo has made a strong statement about Sipho Mbule and Teboho Mokoena amid rumors Kaizer Chiefs want both players.
The talented midfield duo have been linked with exits from the club, including reports last week that Mbule had signed for Kaizer Chiefs, however the club has dismissed those reports as ‘fake news’.
Now Tembo has said, while speaking to Skepe Matsebane on PowerSportExtra, that their staying at the club is a boost to the club, and it will help them challenge for the league.
“No, no, no, no, that is all in the media,” Tembo told PowerSportExtra.
“I think, for the past two, three days, where the club has had to come out and say you know what, no, our players are not going anywhere.
“Sipho Mbule, Teboho Mokoena are not going anywhere. And for me, that’s a huge boost for our club, because we’ve invested a lot of game time in those players.
“And I think they can only get better and better. So it will give us an opportunity to really go out there and fight for the league title, because that’s always our ambition, we always want to fight for the best, and as much as we know that we are using young players, but at the same time we want young players with the hunger and desire, and we have that in our environment.”
