SuperSport Respond On Mbule Reports

SuperSport United have responded to reports that Sipho Mbule has signed for Kaizer Chiefs.

Earlier this week there were reports that Mbule had agreed terms with Amakhosi, but SuperSport chairman Stan Matthews has dismissed those stories.

Mbule’s agent Mike Makaab had also previously stated that there was no truth in the reports.

Matthews told TimesLive, that the club had not received any formal offers for Mbule, or for Teboho Mokoena for that matter.

“There has not been any formal approach by other clubs for the services of Teboho and Sipho and we cannot keep on making further comments on this matter‚” Matthews was quoted saying by TimesLive.

“Our focus is on preparations for the coming season‚ which starts with the MTN8 next weekend against Golden Arrows.”
