SuperSport United midfielder Jamie Webber says that he is ready to help the club challenge for the title next season.
SuperSport finished the DStv Premiership season in fifth position, on 45 points.
The 23-year-old featured in 26 games for Matsantsana last season, but didn’t get on the scoresheet.
Webber says this is an area he wants to improve on as he aims to help the club win silverware next season.
“During the offseason I will definitely be training extra hard and preparing for the new season,” Webber told the club’s website.
“I would like to become more consistent going forward and fight for the team.
“For the season ahead, I would love to get more game time and score a few goals, I haven’t scored goals in a while.
“As players we need some motivation, to become a top athlete you need to do more than the average person. One needs to be more disciplined and go the extra mile to get what they want. That is what I’m willing to do next season.
“I really think we have the team to challenge for the title and Cup competitions, and with the right guidance, I believe we can definitely achieve our dream.”
