Zambian International Departs City

Cape Town City have announced that a Zambian international has left the club, signing for Tanzanian club, Azam FC.

Charles Zulu, who joined City in October 2020, was never quite able to establish a place in the first team, and will now move on.

Zulu, who turned 25 this year, was one of two Zambian internationals at City, with Justin Shonga the other.

The winger made 13 appearances for the club in the DStv Premiership, mostly coming off the bench.

City confirmed Zulu’s exit on their social media accounts on Sunday.
