Sekhukhune United head coach Lehlohonolo Seema was left impressed by on-loan midfielder Sipho Mbule but feels like there’s a lot he can still offer. Mbule completed a deadline-day transfer move to United from Mamelodi Sundowns on a season-long loan. The former SuperSport United midfielder made his debut for Babina Noko in their 2-0 win over Lamontville Golden Arrows this past weekend. “Master Chef” played for 60 minutes before being hauled off, with Linda Mntambo taking his place, and Seema felt that he had done fairly well even though he believed that the 26-year-old still had room for improvement going forward.

Former Bafana Bafana striker Alton Meiring has sadly passed away after allegedly being stabbed to death. The 48-year-old Meiring, who won two Bafana Bafana caps, played for several clubs, including Mamelodi Sundowns, Moroka Swallows, Jomo Cosmos, Golden Arrows and Hellenic.
