Mamelodi Sundowns head coach Rulani Mokwena has revealed why he previously rejected the opportunity to work with Bafana Bafana but insisted “when the time is right” he might join the national team. Sunday afternoon we saw a lot of changes in the Sundowns starting line-up, which included 18-year-old Ntandoyenkosi Nkosi. Tshabalala was with Siwelele before they sold their franchise to Royal AM two years ago. Mtolo To Be Laid To Rest This Weekend

Richards Bay’s fallen hero Sphamandla Mtolo will be laid to rest on Sunday. Mtolo sadly passed away on Tuesday morning at the club’s training session, sending shockwaves through the football fraternity. Mtolo lifted the Motsepe Foundation Championship last term when the club gained promotion on their way to the DStv Premiership, starting 29 matches of the 30 played.   However, as he was the club’s skipper, the armband had to move to Katlego Maphathe because he suffered an ACL injury during the off-season. Motsepe Foundation Championship side Tshakuma Tsha Mandzivhandila has parted ways with Johnny Ferreira. Ferreira was appointed as the head coach of Tshakuma in January after a short stint he had with Venda Football Academy. The 65-year-old was called in to save the Limpopo-based side from relegation but things didn’t seem to work out.
