RIP – Stellies DDC Player Passes Away

Stellenbosch FC DDC player Jeandre Gaffoor has sadly passed away, his agency Prosport International confirmed. The 20-year-old Gaffoor was a talented central midfielder who had joined Stellenbosch from Cape Town Spurs in 2024. He had been at Spurs for seven years, joining the club as a 12-year-old, when they were known as Ajax Cape Town. Sead Ramovic’s CR Belouizdad completed the double over Gavin Hunt’s Stellenbosch FC, beating them 3-0 at DHL Stadium on Sunday. Chiefs Move Into Second Place

Kaizer Chiefs secured a 1-0 win over ZESCO United to climb into second place in their CAF Confederations Cup group after four matches. Just like in the first leg, Chiefs opened the scoring early in the game, with Glody Lilepo opening the scoring with a powerful shot after Amakhosi had won back possession and quickly found the DR Congo striker. Chiefs & ZESCO Starting XIs Announced

Kaizer Chiefs and Zambia Super League side ZESCO United have announced their starting line-up for today’s CAF Confederation Cup clash at Moses Mabhida Stadium. Chiefs managed to get maximum points in Zambia last week which was their first win in the group stages. Meanwhile, Zega Mambo and Team Ya Ziko are yet to get maximum points. Last weekend’s win for Chiefs saw Chiefs move to four points from three games, meaning they have their fate of qualifying in their own hands.
