TS Galaxy have announced the signing of 23-year-old Nigerian goalkeeper Kayode Bankole from Remo Stars. Bankole joins the Rockets on a free transfer from the NPFL champions in the summer following the expiration of his contract. The new Galaxy acquisition spent five years with Stars before making the move to the Betway Premiership and becomes the second Nigerian goalkeeper in South Africa’s topflight, following in the footsteps of Stanley Nwabali at Chippa United. Former Chiefs Midfielder Retires

Former Kaizer Chiefs and AmaZulu midfielder Keagan Buchanan has announced his retirement from professional football. Buchanan started his football in the youth of Ajax Cape Town, then moved to Old Mutual academy and later Super Sport United. He made his professional debut at Winners Park, then joined FC Cape Town, before breaking through at Blomfontein Celtic. From Siwelele he joined Kaizer Chiefs, and later Maritzburg United and AmaZulu.
